Rachel's Rambling Reflections

Reviews and Ramblings from a Reader and Writer

Thank you for visiting my blog. This is the part where I'm supposed to tell you a bit about myself, so here we go.

I'm an aspiring writer from Dublin. I absolutely love to read, and I would say that my taste in books is fairly wide. My favourite book is American Psycho (even though it did take me about three months to read because I kept having to put it away for fear of blood-soaked nightmares; and trips to the zoo are never quite as fun anymore), but I’m a huge fan of Jasper Fforde, Gillian Flynn , Linwood Barclay and Agatha Christie, you can’t beat Poirot for a good whodunnit.

I started this blog as a way to keep me focused on writing (and maybe to vent a bit when the inevitable writer’s block hits, and no amount of coffee is able to break the curse of the blank page).

I also love to recommend books that I’ve liked, old and new, so I put some book reviews up as well. It’s a wonderful feeling when you can share the appreciation of a good book with someone else, so I hope I can do that here. (I've written some book reviews for Pure M magazine as well, so have a look at those if you fancy).

Please feel free to comment and let me know your thoughts on anything I’m rambling about on here.

I hope you enjoy my blog xxx
